LOS ANGELES, CA (October 6, 2009) Adobe MAX — Cynergy.ME, a division of Cynergy Systems, Inc., the global leader in RIA design and development, which creates rich and immersive online experiences for the media and entertainment industry, announced they were selected by Extreme Music (a division of Sony ATV) to design and build Extreme's Get Trax Online. GetTrax is a 15,000+ track online marketplace that makes the job of searching for that perfect track for a TV show, film, or commercial an amazingly intuitive, fast, and easy process for music & film production professionals.
Extreme chose Cynergy to develop an application with an exceptionally rich and immersive customer experience, which allows editors and producers to access and use their vast library of high-quality licensed music without the usual burdensome and time-consuming process of flipping through dozens of CD's. Built on the Adobe Flash Platform, the Get Trax Online system is packed with thousands of electronic, opera, classical and hip hop tracks that users can intelligently sort and filter in any number of ways, even by music tempo. Using the powerful visual interface, Get Trax's 'class A ear candy' can be quickly sampled without downloading. The new system empowers even small home and hobbyist producers to go online, select tracks, choose their licensing and usage rights, and Get Trax will custom export a full application that can easily be imported into music or production software, such as iTunes, Premiere, Final Cut, After Effects or even an Avid studio, without a complex editing process.
"Extreme Music has already revolutionized the production music industry, both in terms of technology and our actual content with our Hard Drive based Get Trax product. Bringing this business model to the masses through a rich, engaging and immersive user experience will propel us even further ahead, by providing an incredibly simple and visually powerful way to search, audition, manage and export music unlike anything else in the market," said Matthew Bradbury, Vice President of Operations for Extreme Music. "Cynergy's expertise in combining rich user experience with serious software development has made our value to customers even more extreme."
"Extreme was looking to solve a complicated problem. How do we make searching through 15,000 music tracks so simple, approachable and engaging that people not only can do it, but want to do it," said Dave Wolf, Vice President at Cynergy, "and that's exactly what we do here every day at Cynergy. Combining incredible design, with serious enterprise class software development to concept, design and then build software people want to use, and for Extreme, to create an incredibly immersive experience for people to quickly find music they'll want to buy."
