WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 02, 2008) Cynergy Systems, Inc., a global leader in Rich Internet application (RIA) software design and development, today announced it has been selected as a finalist for the 2008 Helios Apollo Awards™. In conjunction with the Washington, D.C. metropolitan chapters for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and SmartCEO magazine, Helios HR, a provider of outsourced human resources and HR consulting, has chosen to honor Cynergy as a local company dedicated to promoting employee development.
The Helios Apollo Awards recognize organizations in the Washington, D.C. area that provide working environments that support continuous learning. In order to be considered for this award, the onus is on nominees to demonstrate commitment to creating new and challenging opportunities for employees; the clear communication of such opportunities to team members; and the impact these programs have had on its success.
Cynergy's leadership knows that, in order to foster creativity and productivity, it is important to design an ambitious and collaborative environment where fun, hard work and innovation come together to produce great software solutions. For example, projects are run by Cynergy's best developers—not project managers—so the people in charge of major assignments actually understand the technical challenges faced by team members and can provide expert direction. Also, Cynergy's entire management team has come up through the company's ranks; no outside managers are ever hired, regardless of their resumes. With the company's rapid expansion, this translates into a plethora of advancement opportunities for employees.
"Cynergy's workforce includes some of the world's best software developers and user experience designers. In order to attract the best and the brightest, it's in the best interests of our company - as well as our clients - that our corporate environment encourages employee growth, productivity and innovation," said Carson Hager, president and founder of Cynergy.
The 2008 Helios Apollo Awards breakfast will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on June 6, 2008 at the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church, Va. The awards programs will honor all finalists and announce the winners in each category. For more information, visit http://helioshr.com/Apollo-Awards.php.
